“失败也是我所需要的，它和成功对我一样有价值。”这句名言是爱迪生说的。它时时刻刻在激励着我，让我克服一次又一次的失败。
记得去年夏天，妈妈带我去参加钢琴四级的考级。在做好了充分的准备之后，我信心满满得走进了考场，等待考级。可不知怎么了，当我走进琴房时，竟紧张到了极点。因此，在考级时我没有发挥好，也就遗憾“落选”了！
得知钢琴考级“落选”后，我整天在家里闷闷不乐，做什么事都没精神。妈妈看到我这个样子后，用幽默的语气问我：“‘失败也是我所需要的，它和成功对我一样有价值’这是谁说的？”我听到妈妈突然问这种问题，感到十分奇怪：“不就是安迪生吗？”提到安迪生这个名字时，我突然反应过来：这是我最佩服的一个名人！妈妈是想……这时，妈妈也笑了：“对了。你想，就连你最佩服的安迪生都在提醒你，我们只有经历失败，才会拥有成功啊！”听了妈妈这一番语重心长地教导，我好似浑身有了力量——这次钢琴考级失败并不可怕，我要好好练琴，争取下一次的成功！
从那以后，我便抓紧一切空余时间来练琴。每天一做完作业，我便会坐在琴凳上，仔细地翻阅琴谱，边翻阅边想起我的钢琴老师关老师对我说的话：“你记住了，无论弹什么曲子，都要注意音高、节拍、指法。这三点是最重要的！”然后我就按照关老师对我的指导，先用笔把一些重要的.音符圈出来，左右手再一段一段的地分手弹。当我弹熟练以后，关老师就让我双手弹，并让我特别要注意节拍。就这样，我刻苦练了一年琴。今年暑假，妈妈又给我报了钢琴四级考级，我拿到考级曲目后，同样认真练琴，不敢有丝毫马虎。在考级时，我努力平复自己的心情，不再犯去年的错误。考完后，我终于松了口气，感觉还不错，希望今年能通过吧！
是啊！在我们的人生道路上总会遭受失败和挫折，但“失败也是我所需要的，它和成功对我一样有价值。”爱迪生的这句名言充满哲理，它鼓励我去勇敢克服一次又一次的失败，最终到达成功的彼岸！
