一、简单原则
学习英语：从简单的开始
运用英语：简单——好、更简单－—更好、最简单－—最好
只有从简单的开始，才容易入门，才容易产生"兴趣"，才容易把事情进行下去。英语阅读应遵守"简单原则"，听、说、写都应从最简单的开始，因为简单原则有巨大的优点：
1、造就成就感，培养自信。
2、增加兴趣。 3、语言朗朗上口。 4、易于学以致用。 但是很多中国学生对简单的语言往往不屑一顾，只求理解而不去尝试着使用自己学到的东西。中国学生在学英语中最喜欢追求一个字——"难"。尽管学了很多难的东西，却不会用。而事实上，简单的东西如能灵活、准确地使用才是真正重要的。
比如从口语来说，人们并不是看一个人会说多么难的单词，关键在于看他能否熟练运用最简单的单词、句型、语法来表达情感、思想。英语国家人们日常生活的'交流是通过有限数量的单词和简单的句型来完成的。
Plain English（简洁英语）在英语国家已成为趋势：即在说或写英文时都力求简单。而中国学生尽管学了很多难词，复杂的结构，但就连用简单词和结构来表达思想都做不到；有时用了很大的词，一方面不妥，再者也很难让别人明白。其实当你透彻理解英语中的"小词"，"简单表达方式"时，才能熟练地用简单英语交际。

二、量的原则
多－—好，更多－—更好，最多－—最好。
中国人学习英文，精读、精听、精说有余，但泛读、泛听远远不够，大量的乱说就更不够了。没有量的变化，怎么能有质的飞跃？因此，中国人学习英语在注重"精"的同时，必须更加注重"泛"。比如学习英语阅读，如果没有读到足够的数量，就无法熟练地阅读英语。若要学习听力，那就大量地听各种磁带，听英语广播，看英语电视，看英文电影。如要学习英语口语，那就尽量多说英文。学习英语不能太急于求成，因为只有有了"量"，才能有"质"的飞跃。
量的积累是必须的。许多人学习英语时，往往有一种误解，认为一本书就代表一个水平。比如，当读完一本初级阅读书时，就会说"我的阅读水平达到初级了"，学完一本高级阅读书，便狂欢"我达到高级阅读水平了"。刚刚读了一本初级口语书，就认为已有初级口语水平。读了一本高级口语书，就认为已有高级口语水平。其实，英语学习有一个"点－线－面"的关系。一本书只是一个点，无数本书连成一条线，更多的线形成一个面。所谓"水平"就是面的问题。就拿阅读来说，首先要读
大量初级书。当你读完30本初级读物书后，在你读第31本初级读物时已没有几个生词，能轻松地读懂，并进入作者所描绘的世界时，那你就可以读中级水平的读物了。仅仅读过一本初级水平的读物，基础根本没打好，就急于读一个更高水平的读物，那必然就会"欲速则不达"，自然不可能学好。也就是说，无论处于何等英语水平，在相应水平上的量的积累是必须的。英语听力、口语、写作的学习亦应遵循这一原则。
语言的学习是培养一种感觉，而感觉要数量的积累来培养。俗话说水到渠成。同样的道理，达到了一定的量，"语感"就产生了。这时应再把感觉上升到理念，将理念融入到自己的思维中，英语就能运用自如。请注意量的积累在基础阶段最为重要。金字塔的魅力就在于它完美的建筑结构。有宽广深厚的基础，才能造就塔尖的辉煌。学好英文的道理是同样的。 基础必须打牢，也只有在基础打牢的前提下，才能学好英文。
三、重复原则
英语有句谚语"Repitution is the mother of skill（重复是技能之母）"。你可以回忆一下你学习任何一种技能的过程。无论是游泳还是骑自行车，都是重复同一类动作的过程。 任何技能的获得，当然包括英语这项语言技能，均来自重复。在刚开始学习英语口语时，重复原则就更为重要。记得在天天英语中有个跟读的功能，它就是让你能够不断的跟读、重复，并且将你的声音进行录制，可以在不断重复跟读的过程中找到自己的差距。
等你背诵一些英语后，就要找同伴来练，反复重复已学内容，这个时候你可以在这个天天英语的口语练习平台里找一个同样是联系口语的人一起来练习不断的重复你已经掌握的内容。 "重复原则"与"量的原则"缺一不可，要有机地把两者统一起来。
四、模仿原则
语言是人们在长时间的实践中形成的认同符号，其运用"规则"可依。孩子学语言是个模仿的过程，他们每天模仿父母、周围的人、电视等一切可以模仿的东西，并且模仿得越来越象，突然有一天，他们停止模仿了，并且逐渐形成融合自己个性特征的语言方式。
作为英语学习者，必须模仿已有的东西，不经历到位的模仿的"创新"意味着错误。创新源于模仿，模仿是学习英语的基础，模仿是创新的基础。只有在你通过模仿，真正掌握了英语的灵魂、精髓，然后，才可能谈到自己的语言风格。

我在学习英语时就运用了这种突击强化的方法。我最初开始学习英语，先突击英语阅读三个月。从简易读物开始，坚持天天最大量地来读。通过突击英语阅读，不但学到了词汇，还熟悉了各种语法现象，更了解了一些西方的生活、文化和思想。紧接着，又去强化听力，经过三个月的听力突击之后，再回过头强化英语阅读。强化完阅读后，再强化听力。强化完听力后，再强化英语口语。按
照这个原则，进行阅读－听力－口语－写作的突击强化。按照这种方法来学英语，进步是飞快的。在这期间天天英语给了我很大的帮助，听经典句型、跟读、重复录音、直接找好友练习口语。 你这样反复突击五到六次，你的语音定将成为最棒的。句型、阅读、语法、听力、口语也都要有这样一种反复突击强化的过程。
一个人的精力不可能总是充沛的，重复做同一件事情就会变得单调，因此就要采取间隔突击强化的方法。英语学习的过程应该是由一个个强化突击阶段所组成的。
六、兴趣原则

听！多听，每天有固定时间的听力训练是很必要的。
听英语时，口中跟着复诵 听英语演讲，看英语电视和电影时，要耳朵一边听，口中一边复诵。这样既有利于注意力的集中，增进对内容的了解，又可同时模仿母语是英语的人们（native speakers）的发音和语调。这种练习时，如句子长而复杂难以复诵，不必勉强，可以先从较短或较简单的句子开始。练习多了，就会养成习惯。
另外一种有益的练习是逐句口译（consecutive interpretation）。把听到的句子逐一译成汉语，这对于听力，正确的理解及反应能力也是很好的锻炼。
说！学以致用，当你能听懂别人所说后，自身能否流利的使用英语进行交流，做到把自己的思想脱口而出，是判断英语学习好坏的关键。
英语是否流利取决于对节奏的正确掌握。英语是按单词和句子的重音来分节奏的。英文诗是练习英语节奏的最好材料之一。例如 Worsworth 著名的“The Daffodils”（水仙花）：“I wandered lonely as a cloud/That floats on high o'er vales and hills...”（我象一片白云孤独的游荡，飘越过溪谷和群山......）便是典型的弱强节奏。读熟之后，大声朗诵，一定获益非浅。
比朗诵英文诗更有效的是唱英文歌。它可帮您练习发音（pronunciation），语调（intonation）和节奏（rhythm），又可让您在愉快的心情下记住单词和句型。所选的英文歌曲最好语言优美，语法正规。可以从童谣开始，再渐渐学唱抒情歌。唱之前先要将歌词朗读几遍再跟着音乐学，唱熟后能背的话就更好了。
读！我认为，最关键要为兴趣而阅读。
寒窗苦读式的方法不但枯燥无味，且效果并不好。如果是为了兴趣甚至“消遣”而读的话，一定会在得到乐趣的同时，无形中取得收获。例如：喜欢爵士乐的人读爵士乐方面的书刊会比看英文教科书效率高得多。同样， 喜欢汽车的人看介绍汽车的英文书刊，喜欢烹饪的人看介绍汽车的……那么不仅满足自己爱好，又能提高英语能力，是一举两得。不过如果你没有特别的兴趣，那就去阅读故事，小说，被情节吸引，而促使你阅读下去，就会有一气呵成之感。这可是一种愉快的学习方法。
并且应该精读和泛读并行。在一篇文章中，抓住好的句子重点阅读。
中国人大都比较沉默含蓄，普遍都有喜欢听，不喜欢说，喜欢读，不喜欢写的心理。即使在口语课上也常常是少数几个学生在讲话，多数只是默默的听。这种心理如果不突破，是难以让英语更上一层楼的。 读完一篇文章，试着用英文记下要点，有可能的话，写几句对这篇文章的看法。这样练习，就能将被动（passive）转变成主动（active），把输入（input）转换成输出（output）了。
另外，还可以用英语写
在当今这种国际化的社会里，用英文写报告，札记，备忘录的机会越来越多，尤其是从事国际贸易或其他国际事务的人士更需要培养这种能力。
英文写作能力的培养，要靠平时点滴的积累。我们可以把在工作和休闲时阅读到的外国文献，小说或英文报刊杂志的内容作成摘要。尽可能不要抄原文，而要用自己的英文把已理解的内容简要整理出来，然后念给家长，老师，朋友听。这样做可发现摘要的内容是否正确，自己发音是否清晰，是一种可立即见效的练习方式，对思绪的整理和文字的锻炼帮助很大。
英文程度好坏，是看您能否在日常生活中随心所欲的运用英文听，说，读，写这四种技能。
而这四种技能的总根源便是用英文思考的能力。
做到用英文思考不是一蹴可及的事，最重要的养成用英语思考的习惯。从生活中点滴开始，走路时，排队买票时，等人时都可以把所看，所听和所想的在脑海中用英文表达出来。
这种练习最需注意的，是尽量避免经过中文翻译的程序。把看到，听到，想到的英文直接记录下来。这是锻炼英文思考习惯的根本。
词汇 的记忆是必不可少的，词汇是学好英语的基础，没有了词汇，也就谈不上句子，更谈不上文章，所以记单词对我们就显得极其重要。记忆单词关键有二：
一是持之以恒：每天坚持记忆一定量的词汇，过几天再回头复习一次，这样周期循环，反复记忆，经常使用，就会变短时记忆为长时记忆并牢固掌握。需要注意的是，一旦开始，就要坚持下来，千万不能半途而废，切不可三天打鱼，两天晒网。
二是良好的记忆方法：记忆单词的方法很多，学无定法，但学有良法。掌握针对自己的好的记忆方法，能让学习效果事半功倍。

每个人都是一本书，不同的类型，注定了被摆放的位置不同。我们这个年纪，大部分都是在苦逼的奋斗，我觉得应该属于励志类的书籍。
朋友说我励志，其实我不觉得，我们这个年纪就应该是这个状态，为了某一个目标坚持不懈的奋斗。比如我为了考教师，考了七次；一个闺蜜为了自己学以致用，想留在大医院，坚持二次考研；一个朋友在一个设计院工作，她说哪天要是不加班，还会觉得不自在……我身边这样的故事太多了，相信你们也是。有很多人选择去了北上广，在无奈与纠结中还在寻求梦想的灯塔，总觉得只要努力，就会看见黎明的曙光。说实话，我虽然回到了家乡，体会不到这种快节奏的生活，但是对于这些朋友，我很佩服。我自己是一个不喜欢喧闹环境的人，大学的时候，匆忙坐公交往回赶，看到夜灯下忙碌挤公交的身影，那一瞬间我就发誓我不要这样的生活，我喜欢生活节奏慢一点。选择了一种生活方式，就意味着放弃了一些东西。生活在大城市的同龄人，选择了喧闹，也多了一些机会与上升空间，当然了，也失去了安逸的资本。可那又怎么样，只要保持初心，不着急，享受这个过程那就是成长。
每个人出生或许就被上帝安排了不同的剧本，都在努力的上演那个剧目。我们这个年纪，有的人已经拥有所有，只剩花前月下的浪漫路途；有的人没有拥有全部，却也是享受人生，歌颂生活的美好；大部分人可能都是没有背景，没有很厉害的爹妈，就靠自己改写历史，简直就是行走的奥特曼，慢慢打磨自己，慢慢提升自己，独自打怪兽。可是，不自怨自艾，有使命感和责任感，能够体会到这样子就很厉害了，这样子才是充实的，不也是一种成功吗？
无论现在你在哪，无论你在干什么，只要相信自己，慢慢体会奋斗路途的充实感，就会有一个好的心态，有一句话不是说努力了不一定成功，不努力一定不会成功，这是一个不公平的不可逆转的过程。我们经常会说活在当下，不是说今朝有酒今朝醉，而是目标在远方，脚踏在实处，无论处于奋斗的哪个阶段，也要留意周围的美好，这样就不会觉得累。相信我们都会有一个好结局，最差的不过是大器晚成而已。
