季节和天气一直是雅思口语的传统话题。在第一部分几乎是每次必考，虽然这类卡片在第二部分的出现率不是非常高，但也会不时突袭。从另一个角度来说，季节和天气的谈论可以贯穿到很多考题之中去论述。比如应对关于体育运动的卡片时，我们也可以略带描述一下做该运动的适宜天气。
在谈论自己所受到的帮助时，也可以说自己在下着倾盆大雨的半晚，有个朋友借出了自己的伞。在最近由机械工业出版社和朗阁教育集团共同出版的《每天三小时冲刺雅思口语》一书中，朗阁海外考试研究中心主编沙莎老师指出，其实很多话题之间都可以相互套用，以移花接木的方法来帮助自己事半功倍。
在季节类的.考题中，经常会涉及到的问题有：
◆What is your favorite season?
◆What is special about this season?
◆What do people usually do in this season?
◆Why do you like this season?
而有些考题是以某种天气为考点的，其中比较多见的就是要求描述一种险恶天气：
◆What is the worst weather you have experienced?
◆When did you experience it?
◆What did you see?
◆How did you feel under the worst condition?
一般来说，谈论季节和天气可以从气候特征、植物动物、人们所从事的活动和我的心理状态等多方面着手。下面，我们就跟着沙莎老师的思路，一起先来看一张关于季节的卡片：
Describe a Season Describe your favorite season. You should say: What your favorite season is. What is special about it. What people usually do in this season. And explain why you like this season.
真题回放
My favorite season is summer. I can’t wait till it starts. Yes, it sometimes gets very hot and sultry. But I don’t care. At least I don’t have to fight with bulky overcoats or down coats.
这篇的开头以非常简洁的方式引出主题，是较为传统的方式。在论述的过程中用了欲扬先抑的手法，先提了一下夏天令人不快的地方，但是注意只能一两句带过，千万不能论述太多而导致偏题。其次，也用了对比反衬的策略，提到冬天的不便之处。以论述对冬天的厌恶来反衬对夏天的热爱。其实也就是将夏天和冬天做了一个对比。
Summer means life, blue skies, gentle breeze, white beaches, and green trees. I love the warmth, the plenty of sunshine it brings and the way people look in tan. In summer, girls wear cute skirts and lovely sunbonnets. All the beautiful colors go around in this season. And you can feel the longing to go outdoors and experience an adventure.
这段也是以非常通俗的语言以细化的方式描述了夏天的气候特征、景物、人们的穿着打扮等。《每天三小时冲刺雅思口语》的主编沙莎老师告诉我们，在考场里一定要拓宽自己的思路，千万不能一说到季节就局限于气候特征上，要学会从多方面着手，这就要求大家在入考场前做好思路的整理。
It is the ice cream season and it is the season of a variety of fruit, such as peaches, strawberries and watermelons. I love those after going swimming or hiking.
这段讨论的是比较传统的相关季节卡片的内容。描述了水果和冰激凌。当说到这个季节盛产的东西的时候我们也可以学习上段所用到的词组the season of来引出。
plus, it is also a time of great relaxation. You’ll always marvel at how much fun and entertainment can be squeezed into summer. There are summer vacations, swimming, surfing, picnics, fishing and boating. There is always something going on and there are always people enjoying nature. I love summertime because it is linked to most of my best memories and it never fails to trigger my passion in life.

最后这一段描述了人们的夏季活动，最后一句总结了喜爱这个季节的原因。其中，squeeze这个词用的非常生动，原意为“压入、塞入”，在这里非常形象的说明夏日给我们带来了无尽的快乐。trigger表示“触发、扣动扳机”，在这里表示“触发热情”。

From a middle class family, I was born in Hsin Ying, Tainan on October 10th, 1965. My father is a civil official at Tainan City Government. My mother is a house wife good at cooking. Although I am the only child of my parents, I am by no mans a spoiled one. On the contrary, I have been expected to be a successful man with advanced education. I study hard at school. Besides texts knowledge, journalism is my favorite; whenever reading, my heart is filled with great joy and interesting.

一、口语的经典句式
下面我们就来看看有哪些口语的经典句式可以运用在雅思的话题中：
1. Although…, still.. 这个句子的意思是虽然…我仍然..像这样的从句就是一个好的开头！
Although I’ve never been to this place before, still I was drain into these beautiful sceneries right away. That’s why I felt so good about this trip.
虽然我从来没有去过这个地方，但是我还是马上就被这美丽的风景吸引了,这就是为什么我那么喜欢这次旅行。
像这样的句子就可以灵活地运用在地点题当中，describe a city or country that you visited before.
其实各位考生要知道一件事，就是你说的内容其实并不是考官最看重的，他们更在乎的是你怎么去说，也就是你说的方式，那么就回到了我们最初谈到的，重点是句型和语法的精准表达，各位也不必再多花时间去纠结说哪个话题更合适，当然如果你能在题材上别出心裁也未尝不是一件好事，但是如果烦恼的是两个相似度很高的话题，那么奉劝你还是多花心思好好背句型吧。
在拿到这道地点题的时候，大家首先要做的是确定对象，也就是要描述哪个国家，以Maldives为例，当我要开始叙述这次旅行的国家时，就可以用到although…, still这样的句型！
比如：Although I have never been to Maldives before, still I was instantly attracted by the beautiful sceneries. That’s why I think it is the most worthwhile place to visit.
这样的句型不光能用在地点题，我们也可以把它放到物品题，
比如describe a thing you lost.描述一个你丢过的东西，这道题大家第一个想到的可能是自己比较心爱的一件礼物或是对自己而言比较重要的一件事物。当然，无论对象是什么，我们也可以把这个句型用在这里，
比如：Although I lost my SLR camera on the taxi, still whenever I thought about it, I couldn’t forget how much fun it brings to me. That’s why it was so important to me at that time.
2.接下来是我们常用的表个人感受的被动语态：
I was amazed by…我对某事表示震惊，I was impressed by…我对某事印象深刻，像这种表示自己感觉的被动语态可以用在part2的话题当中。
当谈到你对某事或某人的印象，或者特殊地点和事物的感觉时，可以说
I was amazed by the beautiful landscape of New Zealand,
I was so impressed by Jay Chou’s performance at his concert.
Part2的答题卡提示问题里，最后一道题常问How do you feel about it?你对这件事的看法，在这里就可以利用这个句型说自己的感觉了。
第二种还可以说I felt relax & refreshed about… 我对某事感到放松或让我提起精神。
I felt pressured about…我对某事感到有压力.I feel content about…我对某事感到满足。I feel satisfactory about..我对某事感到满意。
The thing I want to say is that..我想说的是…这个句型也可以用在part3的题型里运用，当问到你对某事的看法时，如果想表达客观的态度，就可以用The thing I want to say is that nowadays people are much keener in doing out-door activities than sitting in front of the computer all day long.
同样，在表达观点时，也可以用The point I want to say is that… 我想表达的观点是…
The point I want to say is that the living standard and consumption level has been improved so much since 2006.
我想表达的观点是，从2006年起人们的生活水平和消费水平已经有了很大改善。还可以用The first thing that sprang into my mind is that，第一个进入我脑海里的想法是…这句表达也可用在最开始将要展开话题的部分。
二、雅思口语经典句型
介绍完了常用的口语句型，考生们要了解的是，语法和句型的表达时关键。下面我们继续介绍一些能运用在雅思口语话题当中的好用的句型。
1. The reason why…is because…之所以…是因为…
The reason why I want to become a teacher in a university is because I hope to follow my mum’s footstep.
之所以我想成为大学老师，是因为我想要追随我妈妈的脚步。
这句话用来回答What is your major and why you choose this major最好不过了。
这道题也是在part1当中问的频率相当高的一道关于subject的题目。同样，如果问到关于你未来职业的选择，也可以用这个句型回答，如：之所以我想成为一个医生，是因为我想学习先进的医学技术从而帮助更多需要救助的人。
2. This is due to the fact that…由于这样的原因…
Modern-day people should start to adopt healthier lifestyles by going to gym on a regular basis. This is due to the fact that exercises can stretch out our bodies, muscles and ligaments, and for those who sit in front of the computer all day long, sports can really do good to their spines.
现代人应该开始选择更健康的生活方式，比如有规律地去健身房。这是因为锻炼可以训练我们的身体，肌肉和韧带，对于那些坐在电脑前一整天的人们来说，锻炼对他们的脊椎很有好处。
我们还可以用It is because…这是因为…
当问题你对人们生活习惯或方式的建议时,就可以说we can try to eat more fruits and vegetables , it is because they are full of vitamin and fibers which could help our digestion and metabolism system.
我们可以试着吃一些蔬菜和水果，这是因为它们富含维他命和食物纤维，可以帮助我们的消化系统和新陈代谢。
在part2的'答题卡中，也有Describe a meal you treated others(at home or restaurant).
描述一个你请别人吃饭的经历（在家里或是餐厅），在遇到这种题时，我们就可以描述一次在家里请别人吃饭的经历，如果在家里请客的话，肯定是自己和朋友一起做饭，在这里我们就可以用到这些句型。
比如谈到为什么请朋友来家里吃，就可以说是因为家里自己做饭更加健康，我们可以吃到更多的新鲜水果和蔬菜，从这些食物中可以获得更好的营养等等。在谈到有关健康的话题时，我们就可以尝试用这种句型套用。
3. …is the kind of (person/place/thing…) who (which/that) is…
在谈到高分的经典句型时，定语从句也是必不可少的一部分。这个句型可以用在part2人物题的答题卡上，在谈到这个名人、老人或小孩的个性特征时。
考生一般会说He is truly helpful.这个简单句我们把它套用到定于从句中就是He is the kind of guy who is truly helpful.
把句子延伸的话，就可以说He always gives others the impression of being someone who is really helpful.
他经常给人一种乐于助人的印象。
在人物题当中，我们一般都要说积极的内容和观点，当我们称赞某人的好的品质时，就可以运用这个句型入手。
无论是hard-working, intellectual, humorous,还是generous, 都可以变身套用进去，比如Marry always gives others the impression of being someone who is truly hard-working,或是Marry is the kind of girl who is truly hard-working.
不仅在人物题中，地点题亦是如此。当遇到Describe a journey you enjoyed时，考生可能会想到描述自己经历的一次旅行，以杭州为例，Hangzhou is ancient but modern.这样既…又…的表达就可以用
Hangzhou is the kind of city which gives you the impression of being both ancient and modern.
杭州是一个给人印象既古老同时又现代的城市。
还可以说Hangzhou is a place where you can appreciate both the ancient culture and modern city lifestyle.
杭州是一个你既能欣赏古老文化又能体会现代城市生活的地方。在part1中，高频的一个话题就是hometown，问关于你家乡的事情，考生在描述家乡情况时经常会词穷或是句式过于简单，同学们可以参考这个句型，练习无论是地点题还是人物题，都可以进行套用练习。
